Cozy peaceful suite located in beautiful Lake Ann, surrounded by state land with a great hiking trail, as well as the Platte River. The river area offers a rope swing to jump into the swimming hole. Hammocks, a fire pit and seating area in the river make this a fun place to enjoy some time away! The room offers a king size bed, kitchen area with mini fridge, sink, microwave, coffee bar and toaster oven, as well as a dinette set and Futon for seating. We are located in a quiet, rural area. The space The guest suite consists of a king size bed, a futon that can become a single bed, if needed, a kitchenette with dishes, wine glasses, coffee bar, microwave and toaster oven. The shower is great for tall people, and has soaps and shampoos if needed. The decor is warm and cozy and lends to a peaceful enjoyable stay. The guest suite has a staircase with 11 steps to access the room. Guest access Parking is on the west side of driveway, next to the wooded area. There is a hiking trail right there which takes you around the river on one side and Ann Lake on the other. Lots of natural beauty on the Lake Ann pathway. It’s also a cross country ski trail in the winter. Other things to note You have the run of our property except for the main deck which is attached to the main house. The flagstone patio is next to the deck and is an enjoyable place to sit and bird watch. We offer complimentary wine, chips, fruit and chocolates to enjoy during your stay.
