Our log & stone cabin is situated on the bank of a spring fed creek, on 80 acres, and overlooking a 200 year old Tobacco barn. It has comfortable, modern furniture, and is appointed with primitive antiques. You'll be at home in the country + close to downtown and the airport. The space The 5 bedrooms are spacious and each has a private bath. There is a large gathering room with a fireplace, comfortable seating and a large television. The large dining room + table seats 16 people. The kitchen is spacious with good storage, double sink (no dishwasher). It has a basic electric oven and two refrigerators. There is a large charcoal grill on the back kitchen patio. There is fresh cut wood stacked on that porch for your use in the indoor fireplace and/or outdoor fire pit. Enjoy the outdoors: porches, a stone fire pit, spring fed creek, walking trails, open meadows and so much more. Guest access Enjoy hiking and even a creek walk if you can take the cool spring fed water. Sit on the barn porch overlooking the creek and allow nature to nourish your soul. Corn hole game and giant janga are located on the back porch for your enjoyment. There's plenty of firewood for your campfire or indoor fire. Guests are welcome at the main inn should they need an alternate space to work or relax. Other things to note With advance notice we can serve you a fantastic farm to table meal up at the main inn. We can also deliver, in disposable containers, any meal for you. Again, with advance notice.
