Nestled in the Balinese hills of Tabanan far away from the crowded tourist areas, Hideaway House is surrounded by rice paddies and a river, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The space Located approximately one hour and thirty minutes drive from the International Airport (Denpasar ~ Bali) the main house is a traditional Javanese antique joglo with exquisite sculpted ceilings and columns. It features a spacious living room, comfortable bed room and well appointed kitchen and is enhanced by a wide balcony offering a panoramic view of the tropical garden that surrounds the building. Steps away, along a flower garnered garden path lies another building, offering 2 large bedrooms featuring King size 4 poster beds and private bathrooms. The serenity and beauty of this place is breathtaking. Set in an expansive, luxurious garden the property offers wonderful views across rice fields, a rapid river, water lily and fish pond and palm tree dotted hillsides. The sea is not far away either and just 10 minutes drive away, a deserted beach awaits you. Home to several Balinese ducks and chickens, you will enjoy fresh eggs in the morning on our property and also have the opportunity to make your own lemongrass tea and taste our home grown organic vegetables. An outdoor wood burning pizza oven awaits those who would like to use it too. At Hideaway House, a Manager oversees and coordinates the staff and property and is available to assist guests during their stay. A sumptuous breakfast can be provided in the morning, sampling tropical fruits, eggs and toast. The staff can also prepare simple and tasty traditional Indonesian cuisine for lunch and/or dinner at your convenience (5 USD per day). A Professional chef can also be hired (at the rate of 25 USD per meal) to cook more elaborate lunch and/or dinners. Guests are requested to pay for the ingredients/foods you require to be prepared for the meals (Breakfast and/or lunch and/or dinner). A dedicated housekeeper will clean the villa each day and laundry services can be provided for an additional fee per item of clothing. A gardener/pool attendant tends to the garden and the grounds of the villa. We can also offer assistance to find instructors for yoga or cooking classes and arrange massages and/or beauty treatments in the comfort of the villa.
