This is a Timberframe Barn guesthouse. It is private and creatively built and designed. It is close to a lake, and the Salmon Falls River. This is a Weekly Rental and is for the entire space, including the two room/bathrooms, living area and a very basic kitchen (fridge, coffee maker, sink, eating area) The space This timber framed barn has been recently renovated and outfitted with two guest pods. While the barn itself retains its original character by showing its uninsulated/unfinished structure, each pod is highly insulated, air-conditioned and tastefully finished. Antique windows, doors, sinks and diverse items salvaged during the renovation of the main house were integrated back into the barn interior to create a unique feel of rusticity in spaces featuring modern amenities. Guests are required to climb a flight of stairs to access the bedroom and lounge. Guest access Guests have access to a lounge area share with the other guest-room of the barn. In the lounge area you will find comfortable chairs and sofas in an authentic posts and beams environment. Be minded...the lounge is NOT air conditioned, whereas each bedroom/bathroom is. During your stay The hotel is integrated to a property where the hosts are living. If not on site, the hosts will be nearby and reachable by, and a gentle Bernese Mountain dog will keep you company if you wish to interact with them. Other things to note Pet friendly, cleaning charge extra. The property is not handicapped friendly. There are no TVs but very high speed internet is available for free. A Bernese Mountain dog aisle a permanent resident of the property. A tamdem kayak is available for rent.
