The space Villa Fillinelle is a medieval house elegantly converted into a charming small luxury Relais tucked away in the green heart of the Florentine hills. The story tells that Villa was founded in 1200 at the behest of Nelle, Florentine aristocrat, who wanted to devote to his children, a refuge for the summer heat, a safe place where you can spend hours in the arts company and bucolic nature. Its history is hidden in its walls and expressed the effigies that, distributed among the rooms, showing the succession of time and love in which it is easy to guess how the nobility it is intertwined with the reason pure and simple feelings. Villa Fillinelle stands out from other tourist proposals for inherent ability to combine past and present, traditional and international dishes, in an aesthetic combination of great charm. Adjacent to the living room here is the kitchen, from traditional rustic flavor but equipped with all the necessary equipment and modern appliances. It is at guests’ disposal during the day, meanwhile, every morning, the kitchen is used to offer guests the best of bio cuisine Km zero as well as proposals from the italian and international cuisine. Alternatively, you can choose to start the day, making you serve breakfast in the garden or by the pool. Villa Fillinelle offers 4 rooms: 2 suites, a double room and a Loft. Comfortable and tastefully furnished, all rooms have a large private bathroom and satellite TV. On the first floor of the Villa Fillinelle there is the Suite Naldini, the historical heart of our hospitality. The Suite Naldini is a precious nest for two people: it has a terracotta floor, restored antique furnitures, coffered ceiling and luxurious upholstery. At the second floor The Suite Sernigi welcomes guests with the greatness and the light of its spaces: disposed on two floors, the suite features a large living room with library and TV area. Upstairs, accessed by an internal staircase, you will find the master bedroom. It has beautifully furnished with a wrought-iron bed, a large wardrobe and a nice desk. The Suite can accommodate up to 5 people. The double room Camera del Riccio is small, but luxurious. It is an ode to relaxation, with its blue walls, Occitan details and the beautiful view over the Chianti hills. The rooms are accessed through the Great Ballroom, that now serves as a conversation lounge and dining room. The kitchen, with a pleasant rustic flavor but equipped with all modern appliances, overlooks the salon. Surrounds the villa a big park dotted with olive trees, olive trees, evergreen and fragrant plants. A large swimming pool interrupts it: a point of blue inside the green garden, with free deckchairs, sun beds and umbrellas service. The Loft Rondinelli overlooks it. The Loft has a private entrance, a double bedroom, a room for 2 people, a kitchen and a living room with fireplace and dining table. In every room you can find a fresh fruit's basket, fruits juices and a kettle with tea and herbal teas. At their arrival a welcome drink will be offered to you. Villa Fillinelle offers a b&b service. For breakfast you can find sweeties and savory dishes prepared by us with care and love. Upon request, we prepare special breakfast and packed lunches for celiac, vegans and specific diets.
