STUNNING 1st BEACH BLK HOME-Ideal for summer and family/groups attending weddings in Asbury. Groups of 10 people or less. From this first beach block home you can step to the beach, walk 2 blks to Asbury & OG. Only accepting weekly Fri-Fri rentals from June 21-Sept. 6 and 3 day min rentals from Sept 7-June 20. The space This stunning, renovated, steps to the beach former B&B on the first beach block is ideal for family weddings or gatherings and has spectacular ocean views from every floor. There is one bedroom (queen) with an attached full bath (step in shower - ideal for older adults) on the first floor and four bedrooms with four full baths on the second floor (see below for breakout of bed sizes). This former B&B is in a quiet family neighborhood for the summer! IF YOU ARE A BOISTEROUS FAMILY OR GROUP THIS HOME IS NOT FOR YOU. The neighborhood is charming and VERY QUIET as the homes are extremely close together. We do not rent to proms and no parties are allowed. Please note that there is ONLY street parking (which is why summer check in and out dates are on Friday) since less than 4% of homes on the first beach block have a driveway. Weekly minimum from June-August; 3 night minimum from Sept-May. This renovated century Victorian has an open floor plan on the first floor with original hardwood floors and a tin ceiling in the kitchen. 5 comfortable bedrooms, 5 full bath rooms (ALL 5 bedrooms have their own bath!!), 2 large porches with ocean views, private outdoor shower, renovated kitchens, living room, washer/dryer, cable, A/C (AC units in every room), 3 blocks to town (3 blocks to Asbury Park), gas grill. AT THIS TIME...NO MORE THAN 10 GUESTS CAN STAY. $1000 fee for more than 10 people. All steps (and beyond) will be taken to make sure the house is clean and sanitized. Even though we don't currently run it as a B&B (it was a running B&B when when it was originally purchased), we decided to maintain the B&B and mercantile licenses. With that said, we must adhere to all fire/safety codes (we get inspected yearly) and the house meets (and exceeds) all of the required standards. This is important when considering a rental since many owners renting their properties are not required by law to meet these standards. All of these certificates are posted in the house. There are 2 outdoor showers. THIS HOME IS NOT CHILD OR BABY PROOFED. Each renter with babies and/or small children will have to baby proof the home. Also, children under 8 years old must not be on the on the top floor porches without adult supervision. PARKING: In Ocean Grove, all of the homes are close to each other and there is only street parking available (only 5% of the homes on the 1st beach block have their own parking) Once you park, everything is within walking distance. Guest access There are fantastic ocean views from every floor. There is a third floor apartment with a separate entrance. It will be empty during a guest's stay. Other things to note Each room has its own AC (including the kitchen & living room) and ocean breezes abound. SUMMER: There is a grill and you will have 6 beach passes (that will need to be replaced if they are lost or stolen - they are valued at $95 each). You will also have access to a beach locker located 2 blocks away (but it is on the beach near the snack bar and bathrooms). The beach is open all week long but it is open from 12-dusk on Sunday.
