Shaker Hollow is a classic 1795 colonial rich in history and original detail, wood beams and original hardware , set on 4 acres of peaceful beautiful garden and pasture in South Salem.The house has been tastfully updated by the owners to encompass all modern conveniences The space Shaker Hollow is a warm and comfortable house full of historical detail throughout .It offers many different options in regard to accomadation depending on the number of guests .There is the option of taking the full house with 4 double bedrooms( sleeps 8) and 3 bathrooms upstairs , in addition to the downstairs libary with fireplace and large open sitting room with baby grand piano , fully equiped kitchen with dining table , laundry and mudroom . There is also the option for a smaller group to rent the rear wing which sleeps four in 2 double bedrooms sharing one bathroom with a small sitting room but still have use of the main large kitchen dining room , laundry and mudroom . The house is furnished in an eclectic mix of antiques and flea market finds with plenty of books .There is high speed Wi Fi internet , full central A/C for the summer and a combination of radiator and forced air heat for the winter . Guest access Guests will have full access to 3 1/2 acres of lawn , woods and meadow .There is a large flagstone patio off the kitchen with a Weber grill , outdoor dining table and seating under the porch and on the patio( depending on the season) .there is plenty of parking in the driveway Depending on how many guests and requirements the full house or the guest wing with be accessible Other things to note There is a 1 week minimum stay requirement . The surrounding country roads are excellent for biking and jogging .House includes all bedding and towels . There is no television and no cable but good wifi for personal streaming
