Blank Slate Bus#23 is a unique surprisingly cozy CAMPING stay. Unplug in this 1988 International Blue Bird Bus. Perfectly nestled in the woods but just minutes from the lake and town, it’s a great place to unwind and reset. You will have just what you need and nothing more. Guest access • Are you a Cyclist? Well part of the TransAmerican Bike Trail (Section 11) USBR76 literally runs right in front of Blank Slate. So what a perfect place to stop for the night and rest up! • The New River Trail is just minutes away, a fun local trail that is is 57miles long and runs along the New River and an old abandoned railroad. • The Appalachian Trail is just a short drive down the road in either direction, with too many day hike options to just pick one. • And Of Course Claytor Lake is just right here with all of the normal lake life activities like kayaks/boats/fishing/paddle boards/ swimming. Other things to note Rustic Off-Grid Camp sites. No running water or electricity inside the Bus. Just solar and battery powered lighting. Fresh clean water Jugged Water inside the Bus and Outdoor toilet and Solar Shower just steps from the door. Just like tent seams, bus window seals can be leaky during a rain storm, and condensation happens also. Bus#23 has a queen sized bed and a space outside to pitch a 4 person tent.
