Our place is located in the heart of the Driftless Region overlooking the Mississipppi River Valley. We have an amazing view in all directions and invite you to enjoy this special place. We live in the home and offer this as a more traditional experience. We provide homemade baked goods, breakfast and snacks. Business travelers, couples, adventurers and families are all welcome. This space is set up for longer term rentals and discounts are provided. The space Our two story home has five bedrooms were rarely used, that we're sharing with visitors. The upstairs bedrooms are listed under Becca's Driftless Manor and are large 14' x 14' with large windows looking out at beautiful country scenes. Four upstairs bedrooms share a full bath and a half-bath on the first floor. One room has a crib a bunk bed with a full mattress and twin mattress. The downstairs space is a "guest suite" that has a private bedroom and bathroom with a queen-sized bed and a large family room, TV and copper-top bar. We live on the first floor but welcome visitors to enjoy the gourmet kitchen, two large family rooms, a large fireplace and piano. Guest access The rented bedroom and bath, the adjoining family room, bar and exercise room , upstairs laundry facilities, piano, kitchen, first floor family/great room, sun room overlooking the river, formal dining room, and outside garden, patio, fire pit, and other sitting areas. During your stay I will greet each guest and provide a tour and explain amenities and be available as much as needed. I do work during the days but I am some what flexible. We have our own space in the home where we stay most of the time during guest visits - especially if a private stay is requested. Other things to note The bedrooms are up or down a standard flight of stairs, there are ceramic and wood floors throughout and carpet in the bedrooms, so house shoes or slippers are recommended, outdoor shoes can be left at the door. There are two house dogs that are very friendly, and two outdoor cats that try to get into the house. The horses are also very friendly and should not be visited inside their fence as they can unintentionally hurt. The fence is electric and can also hurt if touched.
