TorreBarolo is one of a kind! It is a renovated 19th century tower that is in the center of Barolo, which is in the heart of the Langhe Valley. From TorreBarolo's elevated position in the village (2nd tallest building in town after the Castle), you enjoy sweeping views of the vineyards and medieval hill top towns that contribute to the charm of the Langhe Valley. In 2014, the Langhe and surrounding areas were appointed a UNESCO Heritage location. The space The property offers you 3 levels of living space. 1st FLOOR - GUESTROOM: The guestroom consists of 2 twin beds that 99% of the time are put together but can be separated on request. There is a very small ensuite bathroom with narrow shower, sink, bidet and toilet. Towels and a hairdryer are provided though please bring your own toiletries. Since June 2015, the guestroom has a large air-conditioning wall unit. 2nd FLOOR - LIVING AREA/KITCHEN: Open plan living/dining/kitchen area with six floor-to-ceiling French doors providing stunning views of the environs. There is a side terrace with table and benches. Half a flight of stairs up from the living area, there is a mezzanine with another sitting area, desk and chair where you can use your laptop with good WiFi. Since June 2015, the living area/kitchen has a large air-conditioning wall unit. 3rd FLOOR - ROOF TERRACE: This is the most breathtaking feature of the tower. During your stay you will have exclusive use of the roof terrace that consists of comfortable outdoor furniture and an umbrella to shield the sun on warm summer days. Please note there are steep steps to the roof terrace. There is no washer/dryer in the property, but ask host for info on where to do laundry. There is no private parking for the property as the street is very narrow. An un-metered/large public parking lot is a few minutes walk from property. NB: the only bathrooms are ensuite to bedrooms and one level below the living room. Guest access Guest have access to the entire property. Other things to note There is a public municipal pool 10 min away in Monforte d'Alba. For 12 euros you can enjoy a beautiful countryside setting, access to a large pool, lounger, umbrella and a very good bar and restaurant. As host for website address and pool is open during summer months. There is no washer/dryer in the property. Ask hotel for laundry options. There is no private parking but use of a public un-metered lot that is a few minutes walk from the propterty.
