Cozy and elegant, located in the heart of historic New Harmony, this 1920's carriage house was reimagined, expanded, and tastefully furnished as a stand-alone guest house in 2016. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, roomy bedroom plus queen-sized sofa bed in the living room, two full baths, hi-speed WIFI, three HD TVs, a private back porch with one of the best views in New Harmony, and heated & A/Ced garage. Relax and recharge, just one or two blocks from the town's key attractions. The space The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, micro-wave, dishwasher, convection oven, filtered water, and an ice maker. Guests can take advantage of a handful of staples with which the kitchen is stocked, including K-cups from the popular, local Black Lodge coffee shop. Just update the grocery list with anything that you use. There are ceiling fans in each of the rooms, including the back porch, separate controls for the heating and air conditioning in each room, and heaters in both bathrooms. Both bathrooms have been equipped with grab bars and are stocked with a variety of toiletries, featuring some New Harmony Soap Company products, and linens While child friendly, the house has not been fully child proofed. The yard is unfenced, and there are seasonal flower and vegetable gardens on the East and West sides of the house. Guest access You’ll have the entire Carriage House to yourself, including the back porch and attached garage, and access to the yard and gardens. Other things to note Our guests' health and safety are important to us. We've always taken pride in keeping the Carriage House sparkling clean, and in addition to the enhanced cleaning protocols recommended by Airbnb, we are blocking out additional days before and after each stay in order to ensure adequate time to clean, as well as air it out. There are disposable masks in the kitchen, along with hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes in each bathroom. The Carriage House reservation policy is set as flexible, so if you're uncomfortable traveling or are concerned that you may have been exposed, stay home.
