Our cozy cottage features sleeping accommodations for 8 people with 2 full bathrooms, all situated in the private Yacht Club, which is a gated community. There are beautiful gardens to stroll through during your stay. The decor is very bright with lots of natural light and lots of areas to relax indoors or out. We live in the USA, but we do have a gardener/care taker on site to assist in any way during your stay and is available most days. The guards at the entrance can also assist. The space Our cozy cottage offers great views of the lake. It does not have direct access to the lake, nor the small beach (this is in the gardens). The lake is accessible in the beautiful gardens and the docks there that you have full use of as a guest of the Yacht Club. It is about a 50 yard walk down to the gardens and docks. There are uneven stones on the streets and the paths, so use caution. If you or any of your guests have mobility issues, this home will present challenges. There are uneven steps and walk ways with little to no hand railings. There also is not an actual hand railing to reach the second floor bathroom and bedroom. There is a bathroom and a single bed on the ground floor. Guest access You will have access to the entire home. A code will be provided to the lock box at the house that holds the key to the front door. Upon arrival, you will be required to present an ID to the guard at the front entrance and sign in. We do have to provide the guard with our guests name PRIOR to arrival for permission for them to enter the grounds. Other things to note Also, we recommend that you plan your route and utilize Waze for locating the Yacht Club, which is located on the road between San Lucas Toliman and Santiago. We will share a detailed map once a reservation is made.
