Our 1932 Craftsman-style home is the perfect place to prepare for a wedding. We invite you to play in the ½ acre backyard with a hangout space, playhouse, basketball hoop & Disc Golf! The space The home is situated on Main Street, right in the heart of Fincastle. To our left, just steps away, is the Kyle House event space. A unique rooftop bar and restaurant, 1772 Rooftop on Main, is less than one block away! The neighbor to our right is the newly relocated Historical Museum! The home provides plenty of places to relax before a wedding or game: the wide, quiet front porch, bright, spacious living room, the covered hangout space in the backyard and even a playhouse big enough for adults! We respect your health and happiness, and are committed to Airbnb’s 5-step enhanced cleaning process. The rental space is the front of the home. It is completely private, separated by locked doors. The host may stay in the back part of the home. To provide complete privacy, there are no shared walls! The home is large enough that empty rooms and hallways separate your walls from other living (host) spaces. Please note that there is NO KITCHEN, however a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker and microwave are available! Guest access Guests will be provided with a free, dedicated parking space in front of the house and additional street parking, if you prefer. Street parking is easy and available almost all of the time, however, during events (like weddings) it becomes a bit more crowded! If you feel your vehicle is too large for my “driveway” and others have parked right in front of the house, you may need to park just a few houses away. Other things to note Sports guests in town for a tournament can practice in the 1/2-acre backyard and drive just 10 minutes to the Greenfield Sports Complex. The home is just minutes from other local event spaces such as Santillane, The Preserve at Crooked Run, Virginia Mountain Vineyards, Woodsdale Events and more.
