The Juniper House with Stunning Views
The Juniper House is your home base while you explore the expansive red rocks and exhilarating surroundings of Capitol Reef country. The home is conveniently located in between Torrey Town and Capitol Reef National Park along the historic Highway 12, situated atop a desert bluff with stunning, 360-degree views out of every window. The cabin is perfect for the vacationing family, the creative artist, and the exploring adventurer. The space The property is set at the top of a small bluff central to Torrey Town and Capitol Reef National Park. The property is full of natural vegetation including pinyon pine trees, juniper trees, yucca, and a variety of cactus. The many windows provide abundant natural light. There are 3 separate decks that allow you to take full advantage of the views from the comfort of the home. The home has two bedrooms on the main level as well as a full bath and a full kitchen. Both of the rooms are spacious and have wonderful views. There is a roll-away bed located in the closet of the south bedroom downstairs as well as one in the closet upstairs. Upstairs there is a master bedroom and bathroom along with a private deck. Please note that if you're using the upstairs deck to close the master bedroom door. Torrey can be quite windy and if it is, it will blow the door shut if left open. Inside the master closet, you can find a roll-away bed, a pack n' play, a desk and chair if your working from home, as well as extra pillows. There is a loft upstairs where you can take in the views. This area is carpeted and makes for a good place for children to hang out and play. Guest access You can park directly in front of the cabin, as well as on the south side. Please do not block the road, as there is work in progress next door to the south and the workers will need road access. Other things to note The property is set a little bit outside of town and allows you to feel like you are all alone in the desert. This is what we love about the setting. However, we do have neighbors to the north (wood cabin) and south/east (red roof house) of our property. Please be respectful of them and their property. The land about 20 yards in front of our large deck (east) is private property as well as the land directly to the north. Feel free to roam about the lot to the south/west as you wish, just stay clear of our neighbor's lots. Also, please no parties and no music after 10 PM.
