Located on secluded Kiwassa Lake, just two miles outside the village of Saranac Lake and 11 miles from Lake Placid. This retreat offers the best of both worlds. Relax in a private, serene wooded setting on the water, or take advantage of all the activities the area has to offer This camp features an expansive great room with massive stone fireplace, kitchen with breakfast bar opening up to a stone patio overlooking a great view of  the lake.  Master bedrooms (2) are very private, being at opposite ends of the camp, and accommodating up to 8 guests.   Property is heated by a boiler and forced water through baseboard radiators, heating the rooms quickly, quietly and cleanly.   There are 3 spacious bedrooms, a Master bedroom with King size bed and adjacent bathroom, a 2nd Master bedroom with Queen size bed, two Twin beds and a full bathroom, and a smaller bedroom with two Twin size beds, and a half bathroom. All bedrooms have views of the lake. Step out to enjoy the fresh Adirondack air on the enclosed/screened porch or the stone patio, with a gas grill. Great walking trails a short walk from camp, ask for directions.   Enjoy the Village of Saranac Lake (2mi), Lake Placid (11mi) or just stay home and enjoy the idyllic tranquility and beauty of the nature around you!   However you choose to spend your getaway, you are sure to create lasting memories at this great waterfront vacation rental. Q. Where and when do I check-in the day of my arrival? A. Check-in time is 4:00pm (unless we have approved an earlier check-in time.) Q. When is departure time? A. Check-out time is 10:00am (unless we have approved a later check-out time.) (If possible, we will grant late check-outs.  Please text or call at least 24 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out.  Late check-outs are not always available due to other guests checking-in at 4pm that day.) Q. Is there a cleaning fee? A. Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee that applies to every rental.  If you’d like additional housekeeping during your stay, please call us to book a mid-stay clean. Q. Are linens and towels included? A. Yes, all the beds have new linens, blankets, comforters and towels in the bathrooms at the property for your use. Q. Are paper products, soaps and other household supplies included? A. Yes, the property is furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge and laundry detergent.   Q. Are pets permitted? A. Non-destructive dogs are welcome! Guests should declare pets at time of booking and confirm pet is treated for rabies, ticks and fleas, and not destructive to furniture, doors, woodwork or windows. We do have a $100 Pet Fee when bringing dogs (2 dog Max). Q. Is smoking allowed? A. Smoking is (not) allowed inside the house, but guests are free to smoke on the patio, the decks, or otherwise outside on the grounds.
