The numerous windows and doors create a textured connection for you with the picturesque views, and as you ascend the many stairs to the cabin you’ll get the feeling of being perched high up in a treehouse. Hardwood floors grace the entire house, enhancing the woodsy atmosphere. You’ll find a gas fireplace and an assortment of blankets inviting you to cozy up and absorb the area's unique ambiance. You’ll have a well-equipped kitchen including spices and cooking oils, a French press, and a blender. While there's no formal indoor dining room, engage with each other on kitchen stools and later find a spot on the patio under the stars. A picnic table seating four is ideal for intimate meals. The lofted primary bedroom, featuring a queen bed, offers you skylights and windows for a spectacular sunrise show every morning. The snug downstairs bedroom features a full-size bed, sink/vanity, and double doors opening to the brick patio. As you step outside the French doors to the wraparound veranda you'll appreciate the close connection to nature. A prominent redwood bisects the portico, infusing the deck with vitality. A separate brick patio with a bbq grill and ample seating for you is perfect for relaxed gatherings. You will walk down a wooded path from the front door to discover our hot tub surrounded by a chapel of redwoods—an ideal retreat for your morning dips, afternoon respites, or starlit cocktails. Alternatively, you can indulge in a morning shower amidst the redwoods for a truly unique experience—it's my favorite! Crow's Nest accommodates a maximum of 4 guests with parking for 2 cars. Following Sonoma County legislation, we are not allowed to have a wood burning firepit, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 7 am. Guest access The house is situated on a steep hill, limiting the presence of a traditional yard. However, there are several special areas to enjoy, including the brick patio with BBQ grill, the expansive wraparound porch, and the path to the hot tub surrounded by trees. Ample parking is available for two cars, and to assist with convenience, a trolley is provided after the first flight of stairs. It serves to transport your bags and groceries effortlessly to the top. Other things to note The house is perched on a steep hill with several flights of stairs leading to the entrance, so please consider this if you have any health concerns. To assist you, there's a trolley at the top of the first flight of stairs designed to carry all your bags to the top. For added peace of mind, we strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance offered by Airbnb at checkout. This coverage can help protect against losses due to illness or inclement weather, especially considering our strict cancellation policy.
