Enjoy a getaway to Madrona Beach in this updated vintage cabin. Just a short walk to the community beach gives you opportunities for beach combing, summer and winter crabbing, canoeing or kayaking, and sometimes even whale sightings! Or just soak in the spa tub. This cabin is on the northwest part of Camano Island in the historic "Camp Lagoon" area, just 1-1/2 hours from Seattle, and is close to state parks, hiking, zip lining, and art. It is the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy life. The space *There is one parking space available in front of the garage. *During the growing season, we grow fresh greens in planter boxes on the property for you to use. *We use environmentally-friendly cleaning products, since we care about the environment as well as our beach! *We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance, to ensure our place is clean and safe for your stay. Guest access The cabin is yours to enjoy. It's just a short walk down a hill to the beach (about 100 yards) where you have full access to the community beach! Bring your kayaks if you'd like! You can launch from the beach access. Or just enjoy sitting in our beach chairs, on the logs, or strolling down the beach. The kitchen is stocked with dishware, pots and pans, and all the basic seasonings you need if you choose to do your own cooking. There is also a propane BBQ outside for you to use. Other things to note Summer crabbing is July to September, Thursday-Sunday. If you want to crab, crabbing licenses can be purchased at Huntington's Corner Grocery (just 2 miles away). Cama Beach State Park offers classes, boats and gear if you want to venture by yourself. Boatsafloat2 offers charter tours or crabbing adventures if you'd rather have a guide. It is also possible to arrange to crab with my husband, Ramon, for a fee, if he is available. Just ask about availability and pricing!
