PLEASE READ RULES & CANCEL POLICY. The space Log Cabin in the middle of the Upper Peninsula of MI. 80 acres including a private 18 ac. lake, skinny dipping, fishing, kayaking, relax on large deck facing beautiful sunset, hammock, dock and swim platform... no neighbors, 2 Bathrooms, 4 Bedrooms, appliances AHHHH....quiet time...beautiful.... Wildlife seen includes Eagles, Blue Crane, Beaver, Turtles, Deer, Coyote, Bear, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Garter Snakes, Frogs, Northern pike fish, and lots and lots of Dragonflies - your BEST FRIENDS in the woods! To the north you can visit Republic, MI a very small and quaint town with the famous Summer Place restaurant, Antique stores, Pine Grove Bar & Grill ...a small gas station with selective groceries...and a St. Vincent de Paul...if you like to Thrift shop!!! Also, you will find a kids Playground at Perch Lake...along with a beach in the summer and floating dock on the swelling of the river for swimming and fishing. Going further north and east (about 15 miles) you will find Ishpeming and Negaunee and then further (50 miles) Marquette. Ishpeming has most of the amenities of a small town you will need. There is a great park you can visit in Ishpeming as well...and check out Teal lake...(yes it is TEAL) beautiful area to take a stroll. Check out (URL HIDDEN) for wine tastings in the upper Peninsula of Michigan Remember you are in the north woods...and that means "YooooPPERS" There is a YOPPERs museum...might be fun to check out! Other places to check out would be Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising, Miners Castle Rock in Munising, Sugarloaf Mountain in Marquette, and so much more!!! Guest access Please BRING your own Bed Sheets (Queen -3 and Twin - 4)Towels and linens ( due to the pandemic) Bottled water (for your convenience) Clean Pillows. You have access to the Beach, 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, paddles, dock, raft, life vests, , inner tubes, beach toys, trails on property (stay inside property lines listed on refrigerator ) Hike to the Treehouse....bring bug spray... Other things to note Must have 4x4 vehicle in winter months, and PLOWING fees during stay are to be paid in cash to Maria or Ted. ATV and Snowmobile trails nearby...other fishing lakes and rivers nearby.. Hardware store nearby...bait shop, antiques stores and restaurant and bars nearby IN REPUBLIC. Take time to see the stars at night on the deck! Pet fee: $25/day per pet paid in cash to Maria or Ted at check in. Maria Ted does sell FIREWOOD $40 for 1/2 Truck and $65 for Face cord of hardwood. No pine is to be burned inside the house, only in fire pit outside! Pet rules: Please make sure to keep them close, there are coyotes and wolves nearby especially at night. The dogs nails must be trimmed, as there are wood floors that dog nails can scratch. There are stainless steel bowls for drinking and eating for them, do not use the dishes. Do not let the dogs drink from the lake. I cannot guarantee there are not parasites in the lake. Any lake or open water may have them. Keep the dogs off all furniture, and make sure to keep the basement door closed, as dogs like to find carpet to sniff and "go" on. Thank you for your consideration.
