The Cabin was built in 1976 and was my childhood home. I want to share the Alaskan experience with your family, too. The A frame is a three bedroom, two bathroom 1900 sq ft home. My “Dad’s Place” is a lake front home, and its’ amenities include a porcelain claw tub, shower, sauna, walk in shower, wifi, washer, dryer, and a full kitchen. Be aware this Alaskan home has furs and animal mounts. The space There is only one thermostats in the house, it is located next to stairs to the basement. The master bedroom is located in the basement and has king bed, shower and sauna. The basement also has laundry, family room, and a door outside with a small patio. The middle floor has one bedroom with a king bed, a bathroom with a toilet and tub, kitchen, living, and dining area. With access outside deck that faces Wik Lake. The attic is a loft bedroom with a king bed. Guest access Kenai river is a 20 minutes away! If you want to fish for red salmon, that’s the place! Nikiski beach, Captain Cook State Park, Bishop Creek, and Swanson river are all located within a few miles of the house. The Nikiski Recreations Center has a pool, trails and playground for kids. The house is lake front however, there is not lake access currently.
