The space Nestled beside our home (attached but separate), this charming apartment offers an inviting escape with its own private entrance, allowing guests to enjoy their stay while maintaining a sense of independence. The open layout creates a seamless flow between the living area and kitchen, making it perfect for relaxation. A staircase rises from the living room to a cozy bedroom, furnished with a full bed and a futon, providing ample space for guests or families. The half wall at the top of the stairs adds a touch of openness, enhancing the apartment's airy feel without compromising privacy. Natural light pours in through the large downstairs windows, showcasing stunning views of the surrounding mountains, vibrant gardens, and tranquil woodlands, all set against the backdrop of breathtaking sunsets (weather permitting). Each room is thoughtfully designed with ceiling fans to maintain a comfortable atmosphere, while warm lighting creates an inviting ambiance throughout the apartment. The first floor features a queen bed and a comfortable couch, allowing for flexibility whether enjoying a restful night or simply lounging with a good book. Guest access The entire apartment, covered porch, yard and fire pit are yours to enjoy! The door behind the teal curtain connects to the rest of our home and is always locked. Other things to note * We live in THE WOODS! Flies, ticks and mosquitoes are not uncommon. Bug/tick spray is highly recommended for any outdoor adventures in Maine during spring/summer. *The weather is always changing in the mountains of Maine. During fall/winter months please bring layers of clothes for varying outdoor conditions so you can have the most comfortable stay possible!
