The space The Spooner House was built circa the 1780s by Paul Spooner, then Lieutenant Governor of the Vermont Republic, and his wife, Asenath Wright. It has since enjoyed a diverse history as a tourist house, working dairy, and private residence. The room is spacious, with a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom with sink, shower, bath, and toilet. We provide everything you need, including towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The room also features a large closet with plenty of storage space, five windows with eastern and southerly views, fiber internet, wifi, and work desk. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the enormous front porch that faces the mountains in New Hampshire, as well as a private breakfast and living room which is downstairs. Complimentary coffee and tea are available 24/7 as well as a guest refrigerator, toaster oven, and dining essentials. During your stay We live on site and are happy to help with anything you need including trip planning and recommendations. Other things to note The price of this room comes with a self serve breakfast. This generally includes our homemade granola, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea.
