This lovely 3rd floor private apartment is in an 1883 Victorian Mansion in Blooming Grove, NY for 1 - 6 people. It is beautifully furnished, and has luxurious beds, so let us know if you need one, two or three bedrooms! The apartment has a private entrance, a claw foot tub, a French door shower, and a kitchenette with sunny breakfast nook. It is freshly renovated and spacious. You will have to take 2 staircases. Our land has a nice view of a field of wildflowers, and our neighbor has cows. The space The apartment: This is a private guest apartment on the third floor of our big 1883 Victorian. Please book for the appropriate number of guests when you book. We have space for up to 6 guests, and can open up to 3 bedrooms according to your booking, let us know what you need! Bedding: As travelers ourselves, we know how important great bedding is. For this reason, we've invested in very good mattresses and bedding, so you'll be driving off to the clouds when you sleep. Location: Big Victorian is 1 hour from Manhattan, nestled on 5 acres, just down the road from an Apple orchard. We are a 6-minute drive from Lego Land, and near many local farms and wedding venues. Stairs: The Big Victorian's Guest Apartment is on the third floor. There are narrow stairs as this home is a 140 year-old Second Empire Victorian. Please ensure you can easily walk stairs before booking. Quiet Hours: You'll have the entire third floor privately. Beneath you is another guest suite, so please observe quiet hours after 9pm, and try to speak quietly in the stairs during quiet hours. The floors below you are occupied by Anastasia and Chad, the couple renovating the home, and a small exotic cat named Zucchini. She is friendly, but not overbearing. More details: The third floor unit is a 2000sqft three bedroom space with a kitchenette (with toaster, microwave, coffeemaker) and a huge, beautifully tiled bathroom with a claw foot tub. We do have another listing one floor below, and there is a shared hallway (please be quiet after 9 on the stairs). Other than this, you will rarely see anyone. But if you do see us, say hello! We keep to ourselves but are very friendly. The space is cozy, airy and has great heat and central air. We hope it makes an amazing escape for you. Security: Be advised that we use a doorbell camera for security. There are no cameras inside the property. Look forward to hosting you! Guest access The third floor apartment. The grounds. The driveway. We only ask that you do not venture far into the side yard beyond the home as that space is being worked on. Long covered porch is not for the guests and the steps awaiting renovation. And please do not venture into the first or second floor. Other things to note The apartment is located in the 3rd floor of the Big Victorian. You'll have to take 2 staircases to get upstairs. There is no TV at the apartment, but the wifi is strong so you could stream Netflix etc if you'd like. If you're booking for 1 or 2 people we will have 1 bedroom open for you(the grey bedroom with queen bed) . For 3 or 4 guests we open both bedrooms (the other bedroom has full size bed). If you are 2 people and would like to have both bedrooms just let us know.
