The space Studio Apartment, no shared interior spaces, private bathroom with shower, private entrance*** The 500-square foot studio with private entrance and private bathroom is located on the first level of a 3-story home on popular Ocean Drive in Hollywood Beach. This is not a shared space but a separate unit on the first floor of a 3 story home. The home is next to the Zachari Dunes at Mandalay Beach Resort a Curio Collection Hotel by Hilton with upscale restaurant and converted Airstream trailer outdoor breakfast/lunch option. The room has a comfortable queen-size bed, adjacent bathroom with one sink and shower. Also included with the space is a bar sink, built-in 24" by 35" inch refrigerator with small freezer space (ice cube trays, no maker). Keurig Coffee maker and toaster oven. Wifi is available through a wireless router and there is a basic outdoor shower with warm and cold water. TV with Roku. Rules regarding events: No parties, no events, no gatherings, no pets, no smoking, one guest maximum unless booking for two. The noise level is much louder when there are two guests therefore an extra fee is added. Refer to more specifics in the Rules Section. One guest only mentioned that the small refrigerator with small freezer kept him up at night, so just want to mention this in the listing in case you are a light sleeper. The houses are close together so the house to the rear does have windows that face the rear . There is an extra charge for the second person per night so if two people, PLEASE reserve for two. Guest access Located in Hollywood Beach with the benefit of being the northernmost home on popular Ocean Dr placing it next door to Oxnard State Beach Park pedestrian/bike path. This walkway provides walkers and bicyclists with direct access to the Oxnard Shores, the community to the north of Hollywood Beach. Restaurants and bars are a few minutes away. Walking distance to Hollywood Beach Cafe, Mrs. Olsen's Coffee Hut, Channel Islands Harbor, Masala Twist, and the Harbor Mart general store and a short bike ride to Sea Fresh Restaurant, Honey Cup Coffeehouse & Creamery, Moqueca Brazilian Cuisine, and the Waterside Restaurant & Wine Bar. Don't forget to check out the historical Rudder Room Bar on the south end of Ocean Dr directly on the beach. Meet the Oxnard locals at our own brewery and tasting room, The Red Tandem. Other things to note Notes: The host prefers to list all aspects of the space, so please review the following before reserving..... There may be times that guests hear the sounds of plumbing or footsteps from upstairs, but the main section of the house is owner-occupied so he is respectful of all guests and is as quiet as possible. Additionally, the beach parking lot is next door so there are times guests may hear beachgoer noises (e.g. loud vehicles, radios, talking, etc) even in the middle of the night or early morning. This is a rare occurrence but it can occur; you are more likely to hear the sounds of the waves. Although there is no lifeguard at the beach across from the home, it is a popular surfing and swimming spot. The small refrigerator with compact freezer section does make a humming sound and can be disturbing to some. But then again, you may not notice this sound at all.
