The space Phillipsburg is steeped in history and was so strategically important,particularly at the time of the civil war for the Delaware river and the Morris Canal. Then came the railroads.There are plaques all along South Main Street explaining the architectural and commercial significance of the area. There are three different railways visible from the rear windows with trainspotting and bird-watching being a favorite past-time. We have dedicated the top floor with the best views to your luxury accommodation. This listing is for the Luxury King Suite on the top floor of the Townhouse only. The king suite comes with an additional single pull out, coffee maker, microwave,refrigerator,TV,Iron & board and toiletries. You will have everything at your fingertips and more. All the modern cons in a mansion from two centuries ago, so that you can live like a Lord or Lady and sip from fine crystal. Many of our guests visit the Crayola Center so we give great attention to the needs of our little ones, such as toys, games, painting and drawing ,with charging stations and high speed WIFI in every room. We do not encourage TV but they are equipped with free Roku, Netflix and of course Alexa for local weather and flight information. For an additional fee you can enjoy the mansion ground floor and terrace to watch the magnificent sunsets as your private entertaining space in the evening or for continental breakfast in the parlor. During your stay The Lander Stewart Mansion is a private home , so someone will be home almost all the time.We share our home with 'Jack', our house dog, who is there for your protection and hugs. You may spot him in the garden. He only barks at danger and extreme excitement, so you will never be alone. However, Jack can't open doors yet to greet you nor does he have access to your floor unless invited, so express check in is available after 3pm to everyone. Doors are secure with your own personal pin code provided at check-in for all access during your stay. There is a wide range of brochures in the foyer and in your rooms or if you prefer we can provide you with some activity suggestions via text. Go upstairs after your meal and forget the day. Head up and over the hill on North Hampton Street to Big Daddy's. Lebanese, middle eastern food, hidden on the left. Choose your own beer from the many coolers and stay a while. You won't regret it.
