Enjoy looking at the lake from almost every room in the house. Wake up in one of 3 private bedrooms or the sunroom (daybed and trundle bed) looking at the water. Have coffee on the porch while the sun rises, walk straight into the lake from the boat landing, enjoy relaxing on the patio, lay out in the sun, jump off the private dock, build a sandcastle on the beach, and then finish your day with a bonfire in the fire pit while still looking at the lake with the moon shining down. The space Please know that the last 1 mile to the lake home is a maintained gravel road. If you aren't used to traditional roads to lake homes, know that what you will travel on is normal for most homes on Claytor Lake. You are 38 miles from VT's Lane Stadium & Castle Coliseum (Go Hokies), 24 miles from Radford University, 21 miles from Sinkland Farms Brewery, 11 miles to Spinning Jenny Vineyards, 15 miles away from Iron Heart Winery & less than 6 miles from I-81 to get you to any destination you desire. If you choose to stay in, you will have a private dock, beach area, patio & porch all overlooking Claytor Lake while you enjoy swimming, boating, kayaking, smores, a fire pit and/or just relaxing. There are neighbors on each side of the home. Guest access You have access to the entire house and property. Parking is available in the driveway as well as at the top of the driveway. Also know that parking can be tricky with more than 5 cars so carpooling is strongly recommended. No smoking, cats or rabbits as owner is allergic. Other things to note 3 rolls of toilet paper & 1 roll of paper towels are provided. Should you feel you’ll need more, you’re encouraged to plan before your arrival. Don't forget to bring your dogs/fur babies as they are welcome to enjoy the house and lake with you. They are not allowed in the 1st bedroom intended to be allergen reduction room for guests who need that for comfortable sleeping. Please clean up after your dogs and place blankets or towels down where they sit and lay. Dog bowels, waste remover (i.e. pooper scooper), and leash lead is available. Parties are welcome at the permission of the homeowners. To respect the neighbors and other people enjoying the lake around you, please wind down your party by 10-11 pm. No smoking, cats or rabbits as owner is allergic.
