The space The Valle Crucis Cozy-Up Chalet is an open, private, luxury 1 room Chalet. Vaulted Ceiling with skylights, lots of windows, wood ceilings and floors give this space the mountain feel everyone is looking for! You'll appreciate the luxury queen mattress, bedding and towels.* There is a brand new full bath with walk-in shower. Kitchenette offers small fridge/freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee pot or French press, Hot water kettle and a multi-function toaster oven. Dishes, glassware and utensils are provided. Electric fireplace for added warmth and ambiance. Charcoal grill out on the porch and we include one starter log for the fire pit. Otherwise, lots of fallen branches around the woodsy property and/or many area shops sell logs. 32" wall-mounted Roku TV with Netflix, Prime, Discovery+, PBS and more! Various phone chargers, reading glasses, playing cards, flashlights, lanterns, umbrellas in the room. Also luggage racks and TV trays which can double as small desk(s) provided. * 1 child can be accommodated with a roll-up memory foam mattress on the floor. Mattress upon request and extra bedding stored under the queen bed. The Chalet is surrounded by trees and you will enjoy the moon and stars through the skylights as well as full privacy, once inside. Guest access You will enjoy a private, covered parking structure to keep your vehicle clean and dry during all seasons. (Possible to fit 2 vehicles, lined up single file, but only one would be fully covered) From there, it's just a short walk to your private front door with keypad entry. Solar lights line the path and the front door. Code will be texted to you prior to your arrival. All wheel or 4 wheel drive recommended in winter conditions. Other things to note So close to the Watauga River where folks enjoy kayaking, tubing & fishing. Purchase your permit at Original Mast General Store down the road! Short drive to App Ski Mt, Sugar and Beech Mountain ski resorts. Within minutes of restaurants, wineries and several breweries in Boone/Blowing Rock/Banner Elk. Uber is available in our area! Host lives in separate home on the property. Can be available, if needed, but will otherwise leave you alone. :)
