Some of the decorations pays homage to that heritage like the religious and local art, while adding some modern and mid century looks to complement the style. Other things to note Barrio Pedro Garcia is a very quiet neighborhood. Traffic is mostly local (with the exception of Sundays, when local tourist traffic increases). ***IMPORTANT HOW TO GET THERE TIP*** Our best suggestion is to use the location pin once you start driving SOUTH towards COAMO (coming from San Juan area) and CHANGE the location map after Salinas or once in COAMO area. Using the location from San Juan will take you north and could be more complicated. However is a very beautiful route as well! Since the property is located 25 mins away from the center of Coamo, I suggest you grab some groceries before arriving at the house. There are several supermarkets and a Walmart on the way to the property. VEGAN / VEGETARIAN Guests - There are options available to buy vegan food or grocery products. Walmart has a decent variety, there is also very nice health food / vegan store (Centro Natural) next to Walmart, you can find even Ice Cream! At the main town in Coamo, you can also visit REVERDE store. If there is a particular item you need, fell free to contact me and I'll be glad to find it for you. We are tofu lovers, so let me know any particular item you need ready at the fridge ! You can also pick up last-minute items in a small market located 6 mins away from the house: Colmado Emajagueño (search online) They also serve hot food items like pizza, pasta, meats, chicken, salads, etc. You can call to order by phone. A larger supermarket-like shop called Colmado El Cometa is located 15 mins away: Colmado El Nuevo Cometa (search online) There is also a gas station with a convenience store located 8 mins away: La Cuchilla Service Station Bar & Grill (search online) You can let me know in advance if you require any items (milk, bread, etc.) to be available at the house upon your arrival.
