POCONOS ! THE DESTINATION TO SEE THE FALL FOLIAGE ! Charming Poconos cottage walking distance from lake Wallenpaupak. This house is perfect for a couples getaway. Tis the season for cozy fires in the country, apple picking & more. Great restaurants, vineyards, spas & antique shops close by. Scenic Fall drives in beautiful Pocono country. Nearby Narrowsburg and Hawley have great Fall festivities going on. Have wonderful getaway this Fall & enjoy the fall colors at this centrally located cottage. The space A brand new front deck has just been constructed. All furnishings are new. The house is a work in progress and will be constantly improved and updated. This is a labor of love and the host wants you to enjoy the space, but also treat his home with love and respect. Firewood is not provided for guests but can be bought in area gas stations and supermarkets. Please take all safety precautions when using the fireplace and never use the fireplace without the fire screen in place. Guest access You will be able to access all parts of the house except the owner's pantry in the kitchen. All guests can access the private lake front area designated for the private community the house is a part of. Other things to note As my guests, you are allowed to use the Colony Cove South lake front amenities associated with the private community the house is a member of. Unfortunately you cannot launch your boat or jet skis from the private community boat launch. You would have to launch you boat from a nearby marina or the public boat launch and then moor you boat in the designated boat slip. There is a public boat launch on Rt. 590 which is about 15min away. Fairview lake (the small lake) is about 10 min away and there is a public boat launch there. This lake is great for serene canoeing, kayaking & fishing.
