Enjoy a piece of railroad history! This train depot, built in 1890 was once located in Maxwell, New Mexico. This piece of history is beautifully refinished and is located in the country club addition of Raton. The nostalgic kitchen has the original writing on the walls, as the passengers went through and signed their names. The signatures are now kept behind plexiglass to preserve the handwriting. The space This 2 bedroom 1 bath home, sleeps 6. Features 3 Wifi/Smart TVs in each bedroom and living area. Once part of the loading dock, the large bedroom has 2 queen sized beds with a sliding door as a walk out to the deck. A second bedroom, with a queen bed and couch is just off of the main living area. The unique bathroom has a curved bead board ceiling and stained glass ! The living area has beautiful windows that make it light and bright. The living room walls feature memorabilia from long ago. Other things to note We do welcome, well behaved pets. We love our fur babies and can’t image traveling without them either! However, there is an additional fee that is required, due to the extra effort to keep our historical home clean and well maintained for each guest. Honest and open communication is necessary!!
