Hoadley walking trail is walking distance from the house (behind Watkins Park). Drive to New Buffalo Beach (paid parking) or to Union Pier Beaches (Townline or Berrien Street beach), or to Warren Dunes State Park (paid access). Shop the farmers markets, either in Three Oaks (Fri) or Skip’s European Market (Sat/Sun) on Red Arrow Hwy (Skip’s restaurant). Hike in Warren Woods State Park and visit Sawyer’s restaurants (Susan’s is a hit). Journeyman Whiskey Distillery, St. Julian’s Winery and Ghost Isle and Seedz Breweries offer great experiences. There is a grocery store at the end of the street in walking distance close to the house, but Barney’s in New Buffalo or Sawyer Garden Center are also grocery options for more upscale products if needed. Visit us in winter to experience the winter wonderland and why not venture out for snow tubing in Berrien Springs or snow sledding on the slopes of Warren Dunes State Park.
