Inside reveals custom hand-painted wallpaper, original hardwood floors, tray ceilings, and one-of-a-kind antique decor that transports guests back in time. This rare retreat into creativity, grace, and mystery guarantees a unique experience. The space Built in 1937, this quaint retreat is nestled in the hills of Twin Peaks. Enjoy coffee and breakfast on the veranda with views of Big Bear. Grill up some lunch on the BBQ with friends. Cozy up by the fireplace with books and games. Each room tells its own story. If you love antiques, this faery-tale cottage will be your dream come true. There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms in the cottage. One bathroom has a relaxing jet bath and beautiful views of the treetops. We have a bonus room on the first floor that has a twin bed. This beautiful room has a separate entrance so you must go outside the main cottage to access it. Our kitchen is a sunny step back into the 1950's. The appliances are also from the 50's. We do have a modern dishwasher hiding behind a vintage facade. We provide beautiful vintage dishes/glassware, coffee and a selection of teas. Please help yourself to anything in the home. Our lovely living space is super cozy and mysterious with beautiful antique lighting. All of the window treatments throughout the cottage are hand made by Christine to fit the unique style of the room. Please do not try to close the curtains. The gorgeous hand painted wall paper is reason alone to visit. * We allow 2 well-trained dogs max. A $50 pet fee will be added. * We do allow children but please take note, there are a lot of fragile antiques. * Lastly, our driveway is very steep and not suited for low profile cars. Guest access Guests have access to home and property. Quiet walks around the neighborhood are encouraged. Other things to note YOU MUST PARK IN DRIVEWAY. The driveway is steep. You can carefully fit two cars up top. You may bottom out a bit. You must have AWD or 4WD in the snowy winter months and at times, chains are needed. PARK IN DRIVEWAY or your car will get towed.
