Full use of several kayaks, canoe, stand up paddle board plus a large lakeside fire pit, shallow swimming for the kids and many other family friendly outdoor activities. Various size life jackets provided for water sports. The Basin warms up much earlier in the summer than Lake Superior for swimming. Cedar hot tub built into the deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy the wood burning stove during crisp evenings while you take in the view of the lake. Full kitchen and laundry for your stay. Property has two buildings, a detached master suite with queen bed and private bathroom with tub/shower. Main house has one full sized bed, and a bedroom with trundle beds. The kitchen, living area and bathroom with shower is in the main house. Laundry area is in the basement. Cottage is right on the water, great for swimming and fishing. Plenty of kids toys, family board games and books in the house. Roku Smart TV, guests can login with streaming account. DRIVEWAY IS STEEP, 4WD OR AWD REQUIRED, otherwise guests will have to walk downhill to the house. Other things to note We are happy to offer additional services to make your stay as relaxing and stress free as possible. Although the house is fully stocked with most cooking essentials like spices, oils, & condiments, groceries can be pre-ordered and stocked prior to your arrival. In addition, we have partnered with a local chef who can prepare and deliver meals in advance. She can also come onsite and customize a meal for any special event. In addition, picnic type lunches can be prepared if you plan on spending the day away from the property. The property has reliable high speed wireless internet but does not have cable TV. We have a roku smart TV that guests can login into any streaming service with their account information.
