Come enjoy the best of winter adventures with your family without spending your day in I70 traffic. Tranquility waits for your family in this bright, warm cabin with all the comforts of home, without the stress of daily life. Spend the summer and fall hiking, borrow snowshoes in the winter, or cook a delicious meal in the well-stocked kitchen. The main floor and large loft provide room for the entire family keeping everyone close by but with plenty of room to spread out. The space This Red Feather Cabin is nestled on about one acre of tall pines surrounded by summer wildflowers or winter snow. Year-round access on plowed roads. Be prepared for the snow between October and May. Four-wheel drive or AWD is required during snowstorms. We will make sure the driveway is shoveled for your check in. Guest agrees to maintain the drive and stairs during their stay with the provided snow shovels and salt. Add it to the authenticity of the Colorado experience! The cabin has a bright, open great room with a full kitchen, dining room, living room with a fireplace, and a large pantry. Downstairs, you will also find the main bedroom, bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, and a washer and dryer. The loft has two queens and one full-size beds and a half-bath to provide room for everyone. Drink your morning coffee on the large deck or small, private decks right outside each of the bedrooms. Please plan to bring your own propane tank or bring ours into the village to refill as it is often left open and emptied between visits. Cell service is available with most carriers and new, fast satellite Wi-Fi is provided, so you can stay in touch or work from the property. Bring your furry friends to increase the fun. Two dogs max. Guest is responsible for keeping dogs off of the furniture, including the leather furniture and beds. Please bring their favorite blanket or use the ones provided to help provide the furniture and bedding. Dogs should never be left in the cabin unattended, unless crated. Since the property is not fenced and wildlife enjoys the property as much as we do, dogs should not be outside unattended. Guests are responsible for cleaning up and taking all pet waste. Get off and go hiking from the cabin or visit the nearby trails. The fun doesn't stop in the winter. Use the snowshoes provided or bring cross-country skis to head out for endless adventures. For more fun, nearby Beaver Meadows has rentals, tube runs, ice fishing, a restaurant, and more winter activities for the entire family. No outdoor fires or smoking are allowed. Guest access The neighborhood provides a large network of hiking trails with impressive views of the quintessential Colorado beauty and National Forest access. Three large parking spots are available. Unique door code will be provided to guests at check in. Other things to note Fast and reliable satellite internet is now available! Must be at least 21 to book. No smoking inside the cabin or on the property. Please help us protect the forest. Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises, which includes any damage to vehicles, etc. Keep all food and trash inside and follow the manual instructions regarding trash disposal. By booking, guests assume the risk of any harm arising from their use of the cabin and property and any guests they bring.
